How do the Survey and Complete Battery Tests differ?
The Survey and Complete Battery tests are similar in that they cover the
same subjects: Vocabulary, Reading, Spelling, Language, Mathematics,
Science, Social Studies, and Study Skills and produce a report that gives
you national norms information.
There are two major differences in the tests: the first is the length of
the tests. The Survey has twenty questions per section and can be completed
in @ four hours. The Complete Battery might have 20-50 questions, and it
takes @ 6-8 hours to administer (spread over 3-5 days).
The second difference is the report. In addition to the national norms information
that is given, the Complete Battery report will have a Diagnostic Profile
which breaks down each subtest into the objectives that were tested; for
example, adding fractions, subject-verb agreement, etc. The Profile will
show whether or not the student mastered each of the tested objectives.
What is the difference between the reader and non-reader
